Jul 22, 2021hi, purchased this baltic amber from lithuania. Tried the black light test and the very clear amber turns opaque cream like color. Amber and copal for those of you that like copal is soft.
I wanted to ask you for your opinion on this amber fossil. Most amber fluoresces with uv, glowing a blueish to green color. Also, amber will float in a heavy salt water.
Your piece looks quite a bit like indonesian amber.
