Cheri Oteri Is She Married

In 1900s paris, wealthy, middle-aged retired courtesan léa starts an affair with fred, nicknamed cheri ("dear" or "darling"), the 19-year-old only son of another even wealthier courtesan. Cheri, the title character, is played by rupert friend (prince albert in "the young victoria," and mr. Director stephen frears (the queen) and screenwriter christopher hampton (atonement) reunite (dangerous liaisons) to playfully bring colettes unconventional romance, cheri, to the screen.
